The AERONS AI-series range of installation speakers has been designed for every architectural aesthetic, structural & performance requirement. The series is housed in compact forms that fit into tight spaces, corners & all the variables structural designs.

AI 16 is an 8 ohm passive, compact trapezoidal, point-source cabinet ideally suited to background music, infill for portable and fixed installation use. The discreet design with polyurea textured paint finish and multiple integrated fixing points achieves a high-class look suitable for any application. With a 90° x 50° horn-loaded tweeter, the internal passive crossover ensures a flat, usable frequency response of 90 Hz to 18 kHz (-10 dB) and a maximum SPL of 117 dB (peak). The discreet look makes them fit any style of décor. Using a custom 6.5” driver and a horn-loaded compression driver, creating a level of clarity and detail that is rare in a cabinet of this size. The 8-ohm impedance design of the AI 16 makes daisy-chaining easy for multiple units on a single channel of amplification. Sharing voicing characteristics with the rest of the AI series allows them to be used simultaneously, keeping a consistent tone. Mounting options include the rear pan and tilt bracket WB-800. The rear connector plate has two 2-pin EUROBLOCK Barrier Strip connectors fitted as standard, one input, and one link.
